Chad Tew

Chad Tew is a writer, educational strategist, and contemplative traveler.

 

A former independent school founder and CFO, Chad is the founder and Chief Disruption Navigator at LearnCollab, where he is building a platform to deliver merger and collaboration guidance at scale—so schools can affordably access merger frameworks, checklists, and process support.

 

Chad currently balances targeted consulting for school leaders with a life centered on slow, often solitary travel and deep inner exploration. Chad recently published a book on school closure and is now working on two books - one drawing from his multi-decade career on school mergers —alongside a philosophical travel memoir reflecting on his sabbatical teaching English to monks in a Kathmandu monastery.

 

He treats this rich, later stage of life as an intentional practice of service and mentorship while cultivating non-dual awareness and preparing for the Bardo.
